Physical Sciences & Allied Field Career

Physical Science is an encompassing term for the branches of natural science, and science (generally), that study non-living systems, in contrast to the biological sciences. However, the term "physical" creates an unintended, somewhat arbitrary distinction, since many branches of physical science also study biological phenomena. Note that neither mathematics nor engineering belong to the sciences.

There are lots of scopes for Physics. Persons having sound knowledge as well as degree from reputed institutions shall find jobs within the country as well as abroad. To choose physics as a career one needs exhaustive knowledge of the subject for this is the subject of conception. Even Simple graduates in physics are under-qualified for industry jobs. They cannot even think to pursue research at this level. At least a Postgraduate degree is prerequisite for the job. Postgraduates with a background in particular specialization are required by the industry. Postgraduates in physics or related disciplines can also enroll themselves in PhD programs in physics, astronomy, astrophysics, plasma physics & technology etc.

A physics graduate basically do research work in various R&D establishments and government departments. Those who are having specializations in Astrophysics, astronomy, geophysics, nuclear physics, meteorology can make career in respective fields.
