| Food Technology Food technology pursues research and education in the field of food technology and biophysical technology. The research is focused on chemical and physical changes of, and during the refinement of, agricultural raw materials. Surface and colloid chemistry is a central field of knowledge, and the experimental techniques are concentrated towards structure determination, surface analysis, thermal measurements, rheological characterisation. To the Division is also associated the Laboratory of Food Hygiene. This is a research unit focused on bacterial diversity and probiotics. | |
