M.B.A. / M.C.A Entrance Examination – 2007

The Entrance Examinations for admission to M.B.A. and M.C.A. programmes of the Annamalai University for the year 2007- 2008 are scheduled programmes of the to conducted by the University.

Appearing for the Entrance Examinations is Compulsory for the Candidates seeking admission to the above Programmes. These Entrance Examinations are for the Candidates of Tamil Nadu and also other states in India

This notification relates only to the Entrance Examinations. Candidates are advised to refer to separate Notification which will be issued during the Third Week of May 2007 by the University inviting Applications for Admission to the various Programmes

Eligibility:

M.B.A. – Graduation in any disciplines with 50% marks

M.C.A.

I) Graduate in any discipline with Mathematics as compulsory subject at Plus two level
II) Candidates should have passed the Degree examinations with at least 55% in Part III

Note: A pass in the minimum qualification for SC / ST candidates

Selection for the above Programmes will be governed by the procedures laid down by the University.

Method of Payment:

Application forms can be obtained In Person by Cash payment at the University Cash Counter on all working Days, (Holidays: All Saturday, Sunday and other Government Holidays)

To get Application forms by Post the candidates should send a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.200/- (Except SC / ST candidates) For SC/ ST candidates they have to send a requisition letter with a demand Draft for Rs.100/- along with a Xerox copy of Community Certificate duly attested by the Gazetted Officer

The Demand Draft should be drawn n favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar – 608 002 obtained on OR after 02.04.2007 from any Bank at Chennai and a self-addressed KRAFT Envelop of size 35 cm × 15 cm with stamps affixed to the value of Rs.15/-

Issue of Application Forms: 09.04.2007
Last date for Issue / Receipt of application forms: 04.05.2007

Candidates are advised to write their Name and Address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.

Application forms will be sent Only by Ordinary post and the University will not be held responsible for non-receipt of Application forms

Note: Please quote the Reference Number of the Notification in the top of the Request letter without fail
