Admission for MCA Programme – 2007
Applications are invited for admission to full-time Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Programme 2007-2010, at Mesra and our Extension Centres at Allahabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lalpur and Noida.

Eligibility:
Candidates must have Mathematics at 10+2/Intermediate level and must also have Mathematics or Statistics as a subject at graduation level (10+2+3 system), or must be a BCA or equivalent, with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) in graduation (average of all subjects). Candidates must also have minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST) in Class 10 (average of all subjects) and Class 12 (average of best 5 subjects, including Mathematics). Candidates graduating in 2007 can also apply, provided they can submit mark sheets by 30 September 2007. Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance-learning programmes are eligible only if they acquired such qualifications as working professionals/while in employment.

Selection Procedure:
Entrance Test on 22 May 2007 at Allahabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, New Delhi, Patna and Ranchi.

How to Apply:
Information Brochure and forms available from 01 March 2007, in person on payment of Rs.1, 200/- and by post on payment of Rs.1,300/- (all payments by crossed DD in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi). Postal requests must include letter & two slips of paper (10 × 10cm) with name, address and phone number. Write MCA 2007 on the envelope.
